10 year old, Kayla Mak was born in Westchester NY. She started dancing at the age of 4. Holding national titles and drawing attention to her flexibility and technical stamina, Kayla trains five days a week at Westchester Dance Academy in Mount Kisco NY. She has taken home many regional awards including two prestigious national titles in 2012. She was crowned the National Mini Female Outstanding Dancer at New York City Dance Alliance and the Young Dance of the Year at American Dance Awards.
She is blessed to have her main instructor and competition routine choreographer, Kelly Burke Fitzpatrick, the owner and artistic director of Westchester Dance Academy and many other outstanding faculty at WDA including Daniella Cavaleri. She has had the privilege in assisting at workshops with great teachers/choreographers including Executive Director Joe Lanteri, Suzi Taylor, Scott Jovovich, Kim Craven, Joey Dowling, Grace Buckley, Andy Pellick, Rachel Kreiling, Martha Nicolas.
