Ballet National de Marseille in ‘Moving Target’
The French ballet company Ballet National de Marseille will present the visually intriguing production Moving Target at the Opéra de Marseille on March 28-29.
Showcasing the marriage of dance and architecture, Moving Target was created through a collaborative effort between choreographer Frédéric Flamand and New York-based architects Diller+Scofidio.
It is inspired by the unfiltered diaries of Vaslav Nijinsky, the legendary pioneer of contemporary dance who spent half his life in a psychiatric asylum.
