Big Dance to hit Australia for the first time
Big Dance is the largest celebration of dance in the world and it’s about to hit Australia! This free biennial event, which began in England in 2006, has quickly grown into an international dance sensation, with more than two million people around the globe participating since it began.
This year, for the first time, Australians have the chance to join in the event when Big Dance comes to the Sydney Opera House on Sunday, July 13.
Presented by Sydney Dance Company, dancers and non-dancers alike are invited to come learn choreography by Rafael Bonachela, which they’ll then perform at the same time as thousands of dancers around the world.
