Dancers across U.S. join in National Water Dance
On Saturday, April 12, students at universities, private dance schools, elementary schools and dance companies from across the U.S. will unite in a simultaneous, site-specific dance at a river, a bay, a lake, the ocean or any water site near to them.
As an arts-in-action project, this spectacular celebration hopes to inspire both participants and viewers to take responsibility for conserving and protecting water.
More than 70 institutions in 30 states around the country, from Alaska to Florida, from California to Maine, have gotten involved to participate in the 2014 National Water Dance event.
