Russia’s Bolshoi Ballet returns to The Kennedy Center
The Bolshoi Ballet returns to the U.S. to present Giselle at The John F. Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. on May 20–25.
Giselle features choreography by Jean Coralli, Jules Perrot and Marius Petipa, and staging by Yuri Grigorovich. The production will be accompanied by the Kennedy Center Opera House Orchestra for all performances.
In a special presentation, David Hallberg, a principal with the Bolshoi and the American Ballet Theatre, will dance the lead male role of Albrecht on May 20 and 22.
